__________
POWERTWIN is the project in which CT Solutions has collaborated technically to improve the sustainability and energy efficiency of buildings, making them sustainable assets and suitable in terms of wellness.
__________
POWERTWIN is a Digital Twin ecosystem project that enables the deployment of turnkey solutions to improve the sustainability and energy efficiency of buildings. This is scalable for each type of asset, through the management of intelligent systems for monitoring, control, and optimization of sustainability and energy management indicators, to transform them into energy-efficient, sustainable, and wellness-appropriate assets, ensuring compliance with European nZEB and Level(s) standards..
The value proposition lies in real-time management and the cross-analysis of indicators to obtain, through the use of advanced analytics, specific behavior patterns and values in a very short time. This aids decision-making by identifying these patterns, classifying them as positive or negative for improving the indicators, and facilitating decision-making for their enhancement.
At CT Solutions, we have applied Planon’s technology and potential as an IWMS software in its space and maintenance management part, to simulate the integration of real data on comfort and occupancy of the building under study.

With Planon, we apply space and asset management technology throughout their lifecycle, aimed at determining if the building efficiently meets usage standards, optimizing processes for both space management and corrective and predictive maintenance of assets. Occupancy values and planning help determine the optimal comfort conditions of these spaces to achieve maximum energy efficiency and sustainability in a building.
The main strategies implemented include:
- Digitalization of physical assets and real-time data monitoring using the BIM methodology.
- Monitoring, analysis, and improvement of key variables such as thermal comfort, indoor air quality, noise levels, natural and artificial lighting levels, as well as indoor occupancy and space usage based on activities performed.
- Simulation of the integration of real comfort and occupancy data in the building with an IWMS system for space management and maintenance of physical assets, which helps improve the building’s lifecycle and its approach to ideal levels.
- Use of artificial intelligence on collected data through “Data Discovering” techniques.
